The Mood Ring is a new way for mentees to regularly check in with their mood, and share that information with their mentors. The Mood Ring can be taken once every 24 hours and measures the mentee’s mood on seven dimensions:

  • Achievement
  • Attention
  • Behavior
  • Friendship
  • Health
  • Sadness
  • Worries

This is what the Mood Ring looks like:

Tip: When you move you move the slider to the right, you’re indicating that challenge is more severe.

Depending on whether you’re a mentee, mentor, or program staff person, you’ll interact with the Mood Ring differently. Mentees take the Mood Ring, while mentors and program staff currently do not.

If you’re a mentee, you can also see your Mood Ring in the Mentorhub app and web version. At the top of this page, you can see your Mood Ring and select what time period you would like the Mood Ring to show; Monthly, Weekly or Latest.

Based on this selection, when you scroll down you will see a graph for how much you have indicated struggling with each dimension over time.
